Brian H. Clausen
For more than three decades, Brian Clausen defended doctors, hospitals, and major healthcare systems. He now brings that insider experience to the people who need it most: injured patients and families seeking justice.
At the Law Office of Marshall Silberberg, Brian handles complex, high-exposure medical malpractice cases throughout California. Because he spent years on the defense side, including managing catastrophic claims nationally, he understands how insurers think, what they worry about, and how to build cases that hold them accountable.
Brian’s background includes founding and leading a medical malpractice defense firm for 18 years, trying high-exposure cases across Southern California, and later managing medical malpractice claims for a nationally recognized third-party administrator. In that role, he directed strategy on catastrophic claims, including birth injuries, pediatric negligence, and permanent, life-altering harm.
Today, Brian uses the knowledge he has gained over more than 30 years to level the playing field for patients and injured parties. His approach is strategic, evidence-driven, and grounded in a deep understanding of how healthcare defendants and insurers make decisions.
A member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 2010, Brian brings both seasoned trial skills and industry insight to every case he handles.
When he is not practicing law, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hiking, skiing, and exploring the great outdoors.
