William Collins

Being a Lawyer Runs in the Family
John J. Collins, Will's father, was a trial lawyer. Growing up, William was fascinated by the law and by what his father did for a living. For as long as he could remember, he wanted to be a trial lawyer. Unfortunately, shortly after he passed the bar, his father died from cancer.
Providing Exceptional Client Representation
William takes a serious approach to both relating to clients and handling his legal work. He relies on strong organization and time management skills in order to accomplish all client needs from a litigation standpoint.
From a client relation standpoint, he focuses on the fact that as an attorney representing an injured person or group of people, most of his clients have gone through traumatic experiences and it is his responsibility to not only act as an advocate to remedy their past harm and future needs, but to be someone to listen to their problems and counsel them.
A lifetime of sports, specifically football at the collegiate level, taught William that timeliness, discipline, organization, hard work, and self-control are key factors in success. He now uses those skills in his practice in order to ensure that each aspect of a case is properly managed in a timely, organized, and disciplined way.
Education and Early Experience
Will grew up in Orange County. He attended the University of Southern California on a full athletic scholarship for football. While at USC, he started 52 consecutive games as a long snapper and won 2 national championships.
Thereafter, he attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Dean’s Honor List and graduated in the top 25% of his class. William also worked in the California Court of Appeal for Justice Richard Aldrich.
In his free time, William enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs, playing golf, and exercising.
The Andi Collins Foundation
Following the death of his younger sister Andrea from breast cancer, his family started the Andi Collins Foundation. The foundation provides direct support to charities and organizations associated with cancer research and military veterans, among other charitable organizations.
